Lakoona Whisky

'Lakoona' means more than just lake. It's the farm where our founder, Tim, grew up. It's where his parents still call home, the setting for countless family memories. It's also the same land where our barrels rest and age.

Crafted from malted Riverina barley, pot distilled and aged four years in Apera casks, this whisky mature with the seasons; warmed by summer, slowed by winter. Drawn from a single batch of spirit, the barrels wait in neat rows in the machinery shed, resulting in a whisky that carries the quiet patience of the land it calls home. 

Clean aromas of soft oak, butterscotch and a hint of crisp apricot lead into flavours of dried fruit and wattle seed, finishing smooth and rounded. 

Enjoy it neat, over a single ice cube, or lengthened with ginger ale.
